Suitable for
Potential and practising project managers wishing to demonstrate their knowledge of the fundamental areas of project management.

Ideally, delegates considering a classroom option should have a significant amount of project related experience and knowledge, and should already be working in a project focused environment. Delegates with little or no project management experience should follow the more comprehensive blended learning options, based around TPG Academy’s Core Courses.

Summary
The Association for Project Management APMP is a knowledge based foundation level qualification, enabling participation in all kinds of projects from individual assignments through to large capital projects.

The exam syllabus is based upon the APM Body of Knowledge (BoK).

Exam Structure
The 3 hour written exam consists of questions designed to demonstrate the candidate’s knowledge of the varying aspects of project management, as well as their understanding of key project management techniques.

Papers are marked by the APM and results are usually available 6 - 8 weeks after the exam.

Study Options
This classroom course comprises 4 days tuition followed by 2 days exam preparation and exam, at a later date, will cover the 29 syllabus areas of the APM BoK in a coaching environment to expand existing knowledge.

Delegates will be provided with a pre-course study pack containing: the APM BoK; the APMP syllabus and an exam study guide.

On completion of the pre-course study, delegates will attend the intensive 4 day course, followed by the 2 day exam preparation course, which incorporates the APMP exam. This course will enable delegates to prepare for the exam through classroom sessions and private study. It will provide opportunities to review knowledge gaps and practise exam technique through tackling typical questions under tutor guidance.

Pre-course work, evening study and question practice are key elements of this option.
