This intensive kitchen fitting course will give you the required fundaments for the successful installation of kitchen units and fixings.
2 week programme
Gain theoretical and practical experience within the following areas:
· How to plan, measure and set out kitchen units
· How to use the correct tooling safely
· How correctly adjust the plumbing to accommodate the new kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine
· Planning for electrical sockets for fridges etc
· Fitting of the base units and wall units
· Learn how to cut out and mark out worktops. How to cut to length, scribing, the correct way to do Mitre joints, how to cut worktop and scribing and cutting to fit uneven walls how to secure it to the base units.

· How to cut out a hob recess
· Fix taps, waste, plugs and traps
· Fitting and levelling of doors including fitting of handles
· Fitting pelmets, cornice and plinths
· Sealing
· Explain legislation associated with Electrics, Gas and plumbing within the kitchen
· Dealing with customers
· Pricing, estimates and invoicing

What do I need to bring?
Tools and overalls are provided for use within the training centre only. You may wish to purchase one of our tool kits and start to become accustom with the tools within the kit whilst on your kitchen installation training course. A mobile canteen sells a selection of hot and cold food at lunch time.
