Further Details
The skill of minute-writing is not only to produce a faithful, full, concise record of a meeting but also to reproduce the spirit of the meeting. Minute-takers must learn to judge when to include a report of the discussion as well as the decision. Courses for all levels are tailor-made, based on the client’s own material which is researched during a chargeable Study Day. Twelve people is normally the maximum. Discussion, exercises, précis of the tutor’s notes and client examples are all used to make for lively interaction between tutor and course attendees. Simon Mort’s book The Minutes is an additional useful guide. For more information visit www.mortreports.com
