Course Objectives
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
• Identify early warning danger signals and adopt appropriate responses
• Recognise and reduce safety risks for themselves and colleagues
• Demonstrate the role of verbal and non-verbal communication in calming a potentially aggressive situation
• Outline and demonstrate a range of strategies for defusing aggression
