Course Objective: to define, examine and practise the skills of assertiveness and apply them to any situation. Assertiveness is a series of skills; it is not a natural state of individuals. It is a learned state and as such, requires constant practice. Applied positively, it brings massive benefits to all concerned by enabling the earlier and more competent defusing of potentially disruptive situations, thereby getting the best for individuals and those around them.
Suitable for: staff or managers who would benefit from learning to be confident and positive without becoming overbearing.
