The session aims to provide participants with the practical knowledge and understanding of various
accounting functions in a working environment. Every session is hands on, using “real life” working paper
file and case studies.
Delegates will prepare a set of "real accounts" from source documentation.
In addition delegates will receive training in payroll, VAT and Control Accounts.
An introduction to Auditing will also be included.

Who Should Attend?
Students or individuals who have no practical work experience and would like to update their skills and
improve their employment opportunities.
Employees who have never prepared accounts by themselves from actual source documents.
Participants should have a basic knowledge of Double Entry. If you do not have this knowledge you may
attend the Workshop "Bookkeeping 1 : Understanding Double Entry"
