The City & Guilds 2394 Inspection & Testing covering initial verification
It is for aimed at practising electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since qualifying or who require some update of training before going on to other City & Guilds qualifications. The qualification is also suitable for those with limited experience of initial inspection of electrical installations, such as those entering the industry from other engineering disciplines or who have been working in allied trades.

Course assessment by a City & Guilds written examination and also a practical examination.
This course covers the advanced aspects in inspection and testing. It is a pre-requisite that course delegates also achieve the 17th Edition IEE Regulations.
The course covers Health & Safety and Legislation of Inspection and testing, the test instruments and the correct sequence and process of inspection and testing. The course is delivered by a registered NICEIC Lecturer
