How does it work?
Candidates must complete seven units in total, of which four are mandatory. The optional units are taken from the more specialist of first line management, of which the candidate must chose three from a choice of eleven.
Mandatory units:

Allocate & monitor the progress and quality of work in your area of responsibility
Ensure health &safety requirements are met in your area of responsibility

Who is this course for?
This level is aimed at supervisors or first line managers who have decision making responsibilities within defined limits and wider responsibility for people and their performance and also assess their knowledge and understanding of key management activities. It also gives managers an opportunity to develop their performance to become more effective and to progress their career.
