How does it work?
Candidates must be assessed as competent against six units, four of which are mandatory and three are optional, to achieve the full Level 3 NVQ in Team Leading. These units are:
Manage your own resources and professional developments
Provide leadership in your area of responsibility
Allocate and monitor the progress and quality of work in your area of responsibility
Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met in your area of responsibility
The three optional units must be chosen from:
Promote equality of opportunity and diversity in your area of responsibility
Encourage innovation in your area of responsibility
Plan a change
Implement change
Develop productive working relationships with colleagues
Recruit, select and keep colleagues
Provide learning opportunities
Manage a budget
Manage a project
Monitor and solve customer service problems
Work with others to improve customer service
Who is this course for?
The Level 3 NVQ in Management is for you if you are a practicing first line manager and you have:
A tightly defined area of responsibility.
Some limited opportunities for taking decisions and managing budgets
Responsibility for achieving specific results by using resources effectively
responsible for allocating work to team members, colleagues or contractors
