CPC National Road Haulage

The CPC is a qualification required by law for anyone wishing to operate medium and large goods vehicles in the UK. To demonstrate professional competence, candidates must sit formal examinations with OCR and successfully complete a case study as part of the examination process to get a CPC qualification.
The Road Haulage national components consist of sections including law, operator licensing, driver requirements and financial management.
The Road Haulage international unit can be added to an existing CPC qualification providing it was taken after 1999.
These examinations are held four times a year.
Delegates must register with K Training at least four weeks before the examination date.

The OCR CPC award is a Level 3 qualification. Level 3 is considered to be an Advanced Level qualification. Delegates will need to pass three examinations to gain the Certificate of Professional Competence for National Road Haulage. All three examinations can be taken on the same day or one or more examinations at a time throughout the year. Each examination unit passed will remain valid until substantial changes take place in the syllabus, even then, a few years may be available to complete any units needed in order to gain the full CPC award.
