This course promotes fire safety awareness and the basic fire training of staff in the workplace, aiming to provide them with a greater awareness and understanding of the threat posed by fire to people and property in a working environment. It will also provide them with the knowledge and skills required to react safely and effectively in a fire related emergency situation.
On completion of this course delegates will understand :

- Chemistry of fire
- Common causes of fire
- Safety features in buildings
- What to do if discovering a fire
- Raising the alarm
- Fire checks and record keeping
- Fire extinguisher theory
