This is a ½ day training course with assessment and a health screening questionnaire will need to be completed. The scheme consists of awareness training to inform individuals working in a restricted area of their obligation not to contaminate the water systems and educate them on how to prevent an incident occuring.
The scheme has been developed specifically for the water industry and is mandatory for all those involved in operational activities that may affect potable water.

Energy & Utility Skills (EU Skills) has worked with the UK water industry to develop the National Water Hygiene Scheme to create a national standard for health screening and hygiene training, which ensures all companies train and test their employees to the same level.
Majority of our courses are held at our premises in Dinnington, Nr Sheffield (junction 31 of the M1). Please contact us for further details relating to costings for in-house courses at your premises or a dedicated course at our training facility.
