The aim of this qualification is to enable practising domestic electricians, to gain an understanding of how their electrical installations must comply with all relevant building regulations.
It will also be suitable for those working in the building trades and others, such as surveyors, who require a working knowledge of how electrical installations in dwellings can affect the building construction.
This is a nationally recognised qualification.
A City & Guilds Certificate in Building Regulations for Electrical Installations will be awarded to those candidates who successfully complete a 40-minute multiple-choice examination at the end of the electrical training course.
