Portable Appliance Testing Training

Learn and understand the requirements for carrying out Portable Appliance Testing in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.

Following a session which outlines the requirement for Portable Appliance Testing a demonstration is carried out of how to use the relevant test equipment before delegates undertake the computer based examination.

Those who successfully complete the examination will be awarded a City and Guilds 2377 certificate.

* Earth bond resistance tests
* Insulation resistance tests
* Earth leakage and touch current
* Load/run testing
