Why attend this course?
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) has been recognised as the most effective personal, and professional, development tool in existence.
This four-day experiential and enjoyable course forms the first module of the NLP Practitioner programme and can be taken as a stand-alone course, providing a grounding in the key concepts and principles of NLP. Participants can use these skills in areas such as social work, training, counselling, teaching, parenting, coaching and consulting.
NLP offers step-by-step procedures for developing communication skills, self-awareness and personal development. This course is delivered in a relaxed environment, and is designed to encourage us to be curious about why and how we do the things we do. We explore how we can transform the way we think, feel, and behave to achieve our aspirations.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What will you learn?
This highly interactive training programme includes:
The history, definitions and presuppositions of NLP
The NLP Communication Model - The filters we all have through which we perceive events and how that perception affects how we feel and behave
The NLP Change Model (and how it differs from other models of change)
The powerful mind-body connection and how to use it to make life easier
Rapport - how to build and improve relationship skills
Sensory Acuity how to fine tune your senses to better understand the reactions of others (and yourself!)
The Feedback Model - how to give and receive feedback positively and effectively
Well-formed Outcomes: how to make sure that what you think you want really is what you want
An Introduction to Submodalities - understanding how you (and others) think
How to increase your linguistic flexibility and overcome limiting beliefs conversationally
How to create excellent positive states with resource-anchoring How to use a variety of tools and techniques to give you greater choice and flexibility in how you feel and think.
How will you learn?
This is a highly practical programme so you wont be sitting through four days of lecture. You will have a chance to explore new ways of thinking, new skills, understanding how/why you do the things that you do. There will lots of opportunity to ask questions, exercise new ideas and learnings.
What do you need in order to join this course?
There is no prerequisite knowledge, skill or educational level for participating in this programme. All you need to bring is an open mind, a curiosity and willingness to support your fellow learners in their personal development journey.
Certification:
Successful completion of all four days and the assessment leads to the INLPTA (the International NLP Trainers Association) accredited Diploma in NLP. The Diploma provides a comprehensive introduction to NLP and counts as 30 of the 125 hours of training required for certification as an INLPTA NLP Practitioner. Once you have successfully completed the NLP Diploma you can progress to take the remaining three 4-day modules of the NLP Practitioner programme, leading to INLPTA Practitioner accreditation.
