One-to-One Creative Presentation

Course Objectives: individual coaching for those seeking a confident communication style of their own. Using exercises and techniques from the theatre, the course focuses on how voice and body language can be developed to create a charismatic impact. There will be extensive feedback and guidance with formulating a manageable routine for continued learning.





The first session will concentrate on learning and practising new techniques. The second session will be an opportunity to revise these techniques and to work in greater depth on specific issues and challenges.








· Introduction – gentle physical warm-up and relaxation


· Feedback on your current presentation and communication style


· Increasing awareness of body language – making sure your visual signals don’t undermine your authority or your believability


· Developing an effective and confident voice – getting people to listen


· Finding your best presentation style


· Audience rapport – exploring use of pace and timing


· Preparation – using material from the workplace, rehearsing the delivery as well as the content


· Reminder notes and exercises to take away








Before the session, think about a specific situation you want to rehearse. Please wear comfortable clothes!
