1 Day First Aid Annual Upskills Training

Prerequisites:

∆ Valid First Aid Certificate
∆ Must be physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the
course content.

Duration: 1 day


Who is it for?

∆ Those holding a First Aid at Work Certificate who wish to enhance/update their skills.
∆ Those wishing to have an opportunity to practice skills.


Course content includes:

√ Managing an incident
√ Care of an unconscious casualty
√ Cardio Pulmonary resuscitation
√ Disorders of the airway
√ Dealing with bleeding and shock
√ Causes of unconsciousness
√ Burns & Scalds
√ Injuries to bones, ligaments & joints
√ Recognition and management of major illnesses
√ Communication and delegation in an emergency


Qualification

∆ 1 Day Annual Skills Session
Certificate of Attendance
Valid for 12 months


Note – This course does not renew the First Aid at Work
Certificate.
It is designed to update procedures.
