This first aid course is designed to train selected employees in both theoretical and practical aspects of First Aid, to the standard required by Health & Safety Executive. The First Aid at Work Course complies fully with the current Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Successful candidates will be awarded a "First Aid at Work" certificate. The First Aid qualification associated with this course is valid for 3 years.
When selecting delegates for this course, the employer should bear in mind the qualities required to make a good First Aider. For example, it is essential that those people selected are reliable and likely to remain calm in an emergency. In addition, they should have the aptitude and ability to cope with stressful and physically demanding emergency procedures.

Management of the unconscious casualty

Transport of the sick or injured casualty

Course Duration:
4 Days
Course Material:
All delegates receive a comprehensive course book at the start of the course.
Assessment:
All delegates are assessed as to their competency by continued multiple choice question papers and practical skills tests.
Certification:
Successful delegates receive a Health and Safety approved First Aid Certificate valid for three years.
