Reflexology is an ancient art which has its origins in Chinese medicine. It has been recorded by the Egyptians in a wall painting found in a physician's tomb dated about 2330 BC. With the advance of medical science the ancient art of reflexology was disappearing but fortunately it was rediscovered by Dr. William Fitzgerald who, around 1913, began to offer a form of treatment known as "Zone Therapy". From his early work reflexology has evolved.
