This course is suitable for people who wish gain an industry recognised qualification to enable them to register with a Competent Person Self-Certification Scheme such as those offered by NICEIC or ELECSA ( Elecsa Part P Info ). Once you have registered with such a scheme you can self-certify your installation work and provide your customers with a Part P compliant certificate.

This course is aimed at people with prior knowledge and experience in domestic installations.

The Level 2 Certificate for Domestic Electrical Installers features the following nine mandatory units.

* Applicable Building Regulations for Domestic Electrical Installation
* Domestic Electrical Circuit Installation
* Installing Domestic Lighting Circuits
* Domestic Electrical Earthing and Bonding Requirements
* Inspecting, Testing and Commissioning Single Phase Domestic Electrical Circuits
* Special Locations and Installations Including Kitchens
* Domestic Electrical Installation Pre-Work Survey/Inspection
* Basic Understanding of 3 Phase
* Electrical Safety legislation, Regulations Standards and Terminology



Each module within this course is certified, therefore each multiple choice exam and practical exercise needs to be successfully undertaken to achieve the full qualification.

There is ample time during the course for students to hone their practical skills before undertaking the assessments. Class sizes are kept small to ensure that all students have plenty of one to one time with the tutors in preparation before sitting the multiple choice, computer based examinations.
