The Hawaiian Kahuna - Lomilomi massage diploma course is developed by Joy Chamberlin and Robert Donkers. Joy has been practising Lomilomi massage for over 10 years. The massage training and practice integrates physical and energetic healing techniques with flowing forearm movements, breath, presence, aloha and sacred space. Lomi Lomi massage explores the Huna Philosophy, Hawaiian breathing and energy balance. It also emphasises the importance of intent, focus, movement and practitioner care within the performance of the massage.Students will learn an unique combination of flowing movements, dance, rhythm, energy and massage in which the practitioner follows specific choreographed patterns of foot placement and body posture while the hands, arms and elbows sweep over the body to the pulse of music, creating a very fluid and rhythmic massage.The Hawaiian lomi lomi massage therapy training course is run over 10 evenings from 6pm to 9.30pm.

The course is accredited by the CThA, EMBODY, IPTI and receives CPD point from Guild for Holistic Therapists, FHT and the CMA.
