ALL TYPES OF CRANES

This course will teach the trainee all the safety and skills / knowledge necessary to carry out safe and efficient operating procedures for the given type of machine and basic inspection of equipment. The trainee will gain experience in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice. The licence has to be renewed every 3 years by a Refresher course.

Topics covered on the course include:

- Lifting equipment and lifting operations, 1998.
- Common cases of lifting accidents.
- Start up procedures.
- Use of crane and operating procedures.
- Shut down procedures.
- Damage reporting.
- Practical operations (job specific).
