The 'SMSTS'course aims to help site managers, supervisors and potential managers to organise, monitor and measure health & safety performance on site. To also establish and maintain safety systems and safe methods of work, which in turn works towards decreasing accident rates. The training course lasts for five days with a multi-choice examination at the end. Successful candidates are awarded the Construction Site Managers Safety Certificate.

Open courses are delivered at UTN's Training Centre in Wakefield on a day release basis over five weeks.
Courses can be delivered throughout the UK depending on delegate numbers and facilities.
