Workshop Overview
Stress is part of living and working in a highly pressured, competitive environment. All too often we become caught up in a cycle of anxiety that leaves us functioning well below our best or feeling tired, anxious and unhappy. The cost of stress to the individual’s health or the employer’s profitability can be considerable, therefore it is important to understand the signs and symptoms of stress and take preventative action. This course is designed for anyone who would benefit from learning how to identify and manage stress both at home and in the workplace.
Workshop Objectives
You will receive practical help to identify and overcome the pressures of life and use your time more efficiently both at home and in the workplace. Through individual and group learning activities, participants apply these stress management tools to getting more of what‘s important to them done in less time. Participants learn how to develop strategies for dealing with emotional, physical or mental stress and how to build a Personal Stress Management Plan to maintain a high level of energy, stability and performance.
