Workshop Overview

Assertive behaviour is a life skill, not simply a work skill. It is a way of behaving which means we are communicating our feelings, thoughts and beliefs in an open, honest manner without violating the rights of other people. This workshop explains the key principles of how to be assertive as opposed to aggressive or submissive, and illustrates this message by using a range of everyday examples.

Workshop Objectives

Using one to one and group exercises, participants will learn how to identify passive, aggressive and assertive styles of communicating in themselves and others. Delegates will identify specific situations where they need to be more assertive and practise them using role-play and rehearsals, ready for use in the real world. Call us today on 08707 598 860.
