Access Training offers this industry recognised entry level to the plumbing industry, giving you the qualification you need to become a fully qualified plumber in just 8 weeks.
As an established, recognised provider with full City and Guilds approved status, and with an excellent track record and pass rate, Access Training is able to offer this instructor lead course from its purpose built training facility in Cardiff, where you can learn all you need from our experienced, fully qualified instructors.
A note of caution......many centres offer the 6129 course but not all have the qualified staff, assessors and verifiers, City and Guilds registration number, or fully equipped facilities to deliver the best training experience.........Access Training does !
Some centres also claim that City and Guilds 6022 or 6032 are equivalent to the 6129 standard.....but they are not. These other qualifications, though excellent, recognised courses in their own right, do not cover all the skills a fully trained plumber needs
Access Training's fully recognised 6129 plumbing course however, designed as a combination of classroom training and practical workshops, covers all the skills required for you to become fully qualified. Units include;

Level 2 Gola Assessment
As this is an industry standard qualification you will be assessed after each unit to ensure you have all the required skills.These assessments take place on-site by our internal verifiers and consist of a series of multiple choice examination questions. All practical work is also recorded, photographed and signed off by our own internal verifiers.
Our instructors will be there to help at all times, giving you the confidence you need at each stage before you progress to the next one.
On completion of the course the results of your assessments and exams, plus your portfolio of work are submitted to City and Guilds for final certification and you will then be awarded the City and Guilds 6129 Level 2 Plumbing Technical Certificate.

Further Details
Access Training will provide you with all the tools and materials you need to successfully complete your training, you will only need to bring your own protective boots and fire retardant overalls, though these can be bought through our own supplier if required. All the recommended reading material ie.Plumbing NVQ and Technical Certificate Level 2 by JTL together with a full revision guide, is also provided by Access.
NOTE: Your training doesn't have to stop here.
Your 6129 qualification is the first step on your progression to full Gas Safe Registration.
