Verner Wheelock Associates achieves National Skills Academy Approval

Verner Wheelock Associates (VWA) is delighted to announce that it has become a National Skills Academy (NSA) approved training provider.

In order to achieve this prestigious accolade, we have undergone rigorous quality checks and have demonstrated a commitment to offering the food and drink sector the expertise and specialist knowledge required to meet industry needs.

Alison Wheelock, Marketing Director, says of the decision to join the NSA:  We always have extremely positive feedback from the training courses we run and Verner and the other trainers are very highly regarded. Joining an organisation for training excellence, such as the NSA seemed like the next logical step. We hope that through this, more companies will be made aware of the specialist training that we provide. In fact we only became accredited this month and it already seems to be reaping rewards.

What is the NSA?

The National Skills Academy for Food and Drink Manufacturing is a membership organisation which aims to provide the food and drink industry with the training it needs to develop the skills of employees and to ensure that the food and drink sector remains productive and competitive.

Its mission is to grow a thriving food and drink sector in the UK, where employers and learning organisations work together to create value. Through its  members and programmes the NSA is actively raising the quality of training provision in the UK and ensuring that employers have ready access to relevant programmes delivered by the best providers in the most appropriate ways.

What does this mean to my company?

In essence it is further proof that in choosing to train with VWA you are receiving quality training which meets the specific needs of your company. Your candidates will leave our courses feeling confident and positive about the changes their training will effect on the company as a whole.

Verner Wheelock added, Were delighted to have NSA approved training provider status. It is recognition for the commitment we have always had to providing high quality training which is informed, current and relevant to our customers varied needs.
